So many people acquiesce to chipping their pets, thinking they are doing a good thing to help make them safe when actually the complete opposite is true. I agonized when I read this article. The people who passed this law in Los Angeles should be ashamed of the horror they are inflicting on those animals as well as those who care for these critters. I hope the people of Los Angeles file a class action lawsuit and get this thing stopped. My heart goes out to Charlie Brown's owners, as well as to the veterinary staff that was forced to comply with this inhumane law. This is all so horribly shameful.
