The Cashless Society is Here

vc-slide1

I’m seeing signs of it everywhere. This afternoon I stopped at a rest area, in Texas, and the vending machines, for the candy, had a card reader. It would take cash, a regular credit card, with a magnetic strip, and would also take a card with RFID. The RFID cards don’t have to be swiped; just placed in front of the reader. I was surprised to see an RFID reader at a Jack in the Box restaurant last October.

The timing of this was interesting because a friend called this morning on the subject of chip implants. He had made a delivery,to a well known nuclear facility, on the east coast.

He had time to kill after his delivery and ate at a nearby restaurant. It turns out the the nuke plant engineers eat lunch at the same place. He told me that the plant engineers paid for their meals by scanning their hands.

I first heard of the cashless society in the mid 70′s. I had a teacher that was a real tree hugger. The teacher was jazzed on anything that would save a tree.  He told us about electronic letters, we now know as email, and buying things without money. I didn’t have any idea, at the time, how this would all work. I just know that the idea has been around for some time.

I am beginning to wonder if RFID implants are required by the government for contractors. last week I saw implanted RFID in use at a place that could have government contracts.

I am sure that I would rather starve to death, on the streets, rather than be implanted with a RFID chip. I hope that God would give me the grace to do so.

  1. 3 years ago I worked at a nursing home [St. Martain in the Pines]in Birmingham we had to scan our hand to Clock in. Last year I worked at an assisted Living facility[Elmcroft] in Mountain Home Arkansas we scan our index finger to clock in. Cashless Society is well on it’s way!!!!!!!!!!! I will starve and live on the streets before I let the government tell me that I have to implant anything in me for survival. People will be so fooled by the fact they will tell us that it’s for our safety.

  2. I just stopped by your blog and thought I would say hello. I like your site design. Looking forward to reading more down the road.
