H.R. 2159, The Denying Firearms and Explosives to Dangerous Terrorists Act of 2009

On April 29, 2009 H.R. 2159, Denying Firearms and Explosives to Dangerous Terrorists Act of 2009, was introduced to Congress by Rep. Peter King of New York. The intent of the bill is “To increase public safety by permitting the Attorney General to deny the transfer of a firearm or the issuance of firearms or explosives licenses to a known or suspected dangerous terrorist.”

This bill would allow the Attorney General, an appointed position held by a gun grabbing Bolshevik, to deny citizens their Second Amendment rights.

From an article by Kurt Nimmo, House Bill Aims to Strip “Right Wing Extremists” of Second Amendment Right.

On April 29, with little fanfare or corporate media coverage, H.R. 2159 was introduced and referred to the House Committee on the Judiciary. The bill would “increase public safety by permitting the Attorney General to deny the transfer of a firearm or the issuance of firearms or explosives licenses to a known or suspected dangerous terrorist.” The entire bill can be read on the Govtrack website

The article goes on to say;

As noted above, the DHS has compiled a long list of folks the government considers terrorists. The bill, if enacted, would allow the attorney general, a documented gun-grabber, to deny millions of Americans due process. “[Rep. King] would deny citizens their civil liberties based on no due process,” Larry Pratt, executive director of Gun Owners of America, tells WorldNetDaily.

The Second Amendment to the Constitution does not allow for any restrictions on any arms. The real problem here is that the Fascism of the Bush administration has been replaced by the Leftist Obama administration. The Leftist in this country view your very thoughts as a threat to them. All one has to do to be a terrorist, to a criminal leftist, is disagree with them.

WND reported in the article Guess how DHS defines who is a terrorist now

While many of the groups listed in the lexicon – such as Aryan prison gangs and neo-Nazis – may indeed be widely considered extremists, others will likely take offense at being described as a potential “threat.”

For example, the memo defines the “tax resistance movement” – also referred to in the report as the tax protest movement or the tax freedom movement – as “groups or individuals who vehemently believe taxes violate their constitutional rights. Among their beliefs are that wages are not income, that paying income taxes is voluntary, and that the 16th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, which allowed Congress to levy taxes on income, was not properly ratified.”
