The Paul family, Ron and Rand, are rapidly losing favor with the grass roots Liberty Movement. Rand Paul has announced that he will be endorsing Mitt Romney for President.
Paul supporters feel jilted that Rand is turning his back on them. Had it not been for bloggers, and citizen watchdogs, the establishment GOP would have succeeded in railroading Rand Paul right out of the Kentucky elections.
The solution of many in the grass roots is to look for a new messiah. Many of the former Paul supporters are now looking to Jesse Ventura. Based solely on a superficial image of Ventura, many are calling for a draft of Ventura as a third part candidate.
How well do they know Ventura?
They don’t know Ventura at all, and like the rest of the general population, chase after one political false idol after the next.
Ventura talks a good game on personal liberties, and the Second Amendment, but is a big government Fascist on many others.
Would you vote for Ventura if he thought that you are fat, and lazy, and need to walk more?
Would you vote for Ventura if he is a supporter of Al Gore’s An Inconvenient truth?
Would you vote for Ventura if he is a advocate of mandatory solar power in your home?

During this interview, when Ventura was unable to backup his claims, with factual evidence, he resorted to talking over Rollye.
Jesse “The Belly”… ahem….”The Body” Ventura thinks that you are fat and lazy. Like every other elitist, he thinks you are using too much energy, while driving around the country in his fuel hog motor coach, and you should be walking.
A man that doesn’t understand basic science wants solar power forced on you by big government.
Don’t get me wrong, I like the idea of solar power. I like that Ventura uses at his home in Mexico.
I don’t like big government and ignorant politicians posing as Libertarians while wanting to force their ignorance on the general public.
So, there will be no support for Ventura from me.
