It is my observation that most people don’t have a plan for prioritizing in a crisis situation. Like most anything else, ask ten people what they might do, in some bad situation, and you might get ten differing answers.

The first season of the reality television show, Survivor, comes to mind. I only mention the first season because I quit watching when Rudy Boesch was given the boot. The show wasn’t about surviving at all. It was about dysfunctional people, their dysfunctional relationships, and the melodrama that resulted.

To make this a learning exercise, imagine yourself in a survival situation for a moment. Your car ran over a cliff, your boat has capsized, your airplane crashed in the wilderness, or you have just survived an earthquake. With impending economic collapse looming, just over the horizon, you might consider what you might face if you have to flee your home.

The Rules of Three

You might not last three minutes without air. This might sound like a real duh huh moment here, but the first thing that you must do is breath. Free yourself from any confining space, and don’t enter any. Especially if you have just survived an earthquake.

You might not last three hours without shelter. This one might very a bit, but in extreme climates you need to find shelter.  In extreme heat, or extreme cold, if not properly protected, you can die in a hurry. Remember that clothing counts as shelter.

You might not last three days without water. In extreme heat, with some added shock from trauma, you might not last three days without water. In extreme cold, never eat snow, melt the snow, it will lower your body temperature.

You might not last three weeks without food. I know that you can find statistics that say you can last longer. In a survival situation, because of increased physical activity, and stress, you might not last so long.

Of course, this doesn’t help to fill in a lot of blanks for you, but it is a simple outline for planning.

In my plans for camping, or a bug out bag, I follow the philosophy of the Plains Indians; they had a Rule of Three’s as well. That is, have, or know, three ways for starting a fire, or for collecting water, etc.

There is no substitute for learning a little bush craft and some 19th century know how.

The only thing out of routine had been making trip to the port police for, an un-necessary, port ID card.  Well, this is, until I started out the gate, after running, my empty flatbed, through the radiation detector.

Waiting at the gate, was a small mob, of U.S. Customs Agents. I was surprised, and taken aback, seeing them there.

I could see what was going on, so I parked the truck, left the driver’s door open, and opened the side door on the sleeper birth. One of the agents, pointed to another, and told me that the agent wanted to run my TWIC. I handed it to him, and he went off, to his patrol car, with it. He had a serious look on his face, and stared, intently, at my TWIC as he went.

Another agent came up with a dog, that he put in the cab of my truck. The dog laid it’s ears back, and refused to get in. The agent made an excuse, for the dog, and pick it up. The dog didn’t want to go in the truck, and most likely, knew it’s job better than the agent.

I go through Boarder Patrol check points and know the routine. I had seen the dog and knew to leave the doors open. I also know that the dog doesn’t need to get in the truck, or have the doors open.  Apparently, the dog knew that too.

Except for the stern faced agent, that took my TWIC, the agents seemed pretty relaxed, and engaged in light conversation. No one asked any questions as it was self evident what my business in the port was.

The stern faced agent returned, with my TWIC, we exchanged some “Be safe out there’s,” and “have a good day,” with each other, and I was free to leave the port.

I left the port knowing that the agents were there for me. Most likely, my name was flagged. I know that I have been data based, and have  made some of the lists.

As I made way for the Interstate, I just shrugged it off, and decided not to take it too personally.

Further news events unfolded, in following days, and I realized that the port had been on alert. It turns out the the state of high alert may have been triggered by an incident at the Savannah River nuclear plant.  I will get to that after describing  the next event.

Within a week, a news report, from WSB-TV, in Atlanta, caught my attention. Department of Homeland Security, VIPER teams, were inspecting, and x-raying trucks, at the Douglasville, truck scales.

From WSB; Counter-Terror Operation Stops Trucks On I-20

Channel 2 Action News confirmed that agents from several federal agencies, including Homeland Security, the Department of Transportation, and the Transportation Security Administration were involved. The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the exercise.

A TSA spokesman told Channel 2 the event is known as Visible Inter-mobile Prevention and Response, or VIPER, an operation that is conducted with local authorities as a training exercise. The TSA spokesman said the operation is not in response to a specific threat.

While the report states that the action, on I-20, was just a training exercise, it also states;

“However, federal sources told Channel 2 investigative reporter Mark Winne the inspections are part of a counter-terrorism operation.”

Which is, mostly likely, the case as we examine an earlier incident.

From Effingham Now, reported Sept, 9, 2010;

Effingham deputies call feds after arresting Russians with shovel, wire cutters outside Georgia Power plant

SPRINGFIELD — Effingham County sheriff deputies have reported the early Sunday morning arrest of three men to the federal Joint Terrorism Task Force.

The men, two from Russia and one from Kazakhstan, were found near Georgia Power’s Plant McIntosh on Old Augusta Road about 1 a.m. Sunday after a ranger with the Department of Natural Resources reported a suspicious vehicle, Effingham County sheriff’s spokesman David Ehsanipoor said.

Deputies reported the men, who were inside a 1995 Nissan Pathfinder, had a machete, shovel, wire cutters and ski masks. One man also had black silk stockings in his front left pocket.

Arrested were Evgeniy Luzhetskiy, of Kazakhastan Nail Idiatullin and Rustem Ibragimov of Russia. All three reported they lived in Charleston, S.C., deputies reported.

The men were all charged with possession of tools during the commission of a crime.

The three were released after being interviewed by task force members, Ehsanipoor said.

“They did all have visas that allowed them to be here and are supposed to be leaving the country soon,” the story concludes.

There you have it. Three foreigners, from former Eastern Block nations, committed burglary, at a nuclear power plant, and were released. The response , of the United States Government, was to harass it’s own citizens, two weeks later.

Now, can I, out of hand, prove this to be the case?

No, not really, but it does all seem to fall into place.

Three foreign nationals were caught breaking into a power plant. The Department of Homeland Security goes on alert. Patriots, on watch lists, are put under scrutiny. VIPER teams are put onto the general public in the conduct of their lawful business.

The part that galls me the most, is that the three perpetrators were only charged with possession of tools, during the commission of a crime, and released.

DHS has failed, in it’s stated purpose, of stopping terrorism, and should be abolished. Clearly, the only purpose  served, by DHS, is to wage war on the American people.

Despite it’s size (it has to be hauled around in a trailer) it looks like just another polygraph scam to me. I can’t imagine a criminal defense lawyer that would advise someone to take a polygraph test. They aren’t admissible in court; so, the results could never clear you, or convict you of a crime.  Polygraphs are a scam to get stupid people to confess.

Given the fact that John McCain, and Joe Lieberman, have cooked up a new scam, enemy belligerents, you would have to be really stupid to go near FAST.

During Korea, there were many horrific things done to American POWs, such as, freezing their feet, in buckets of water. More than 1,200 American POWs, confirmed by the Red Cross, held in Communist China, were never returned. Those that came home; forgotten.

The stories of the treatment, by the North Vietnamese, of American POWs is well documented. The survivors, still living, suffer from their abuse today, many years later.

All of the captives, held at the Hanoi Hilton, broke from their torture, made confessions of war crimes, and made propaganda movies, for the North Vietnamese. The reason they broke isn’t because they were weak, or cowardly. The purpose of torture isn’t to get information from people, but to punish, and to make the victim say whatever is required of him, by the torturers.

And now, a survivor, of the Hanoi Hilton, is doing the unthinkable. Senator John McCain, and Joe Lieberman, are introducing legislation to torture American, on American soil, or anywhere, of government choosing.

The New York Post is reporting, in this article;

McCain, Lieberman to introduce bill to ban civilian trials for enemy combatants (A misleading title)

Sens. John McCain (R-AZ) and Joe Lieberman (I-CT) are set to introduce sweeping legislation that will forbid detainees dubbed "enemy combatants" by the intelligence community from being read their Miranda rights, Fox News reported Thursday.

This would have the effect of banning all civilian trials for such alleged terrorists, pushing those detainees into military commissions.

The bill, the "Enemy Belligerent Interrogation, Detention, and Prosecution Act of 2010," lays out "comprehensive policy for the detention, interrogation and trial of suspected unprivileged enemy belligerents who are believed to have engaged in hostilities against the United States by requiring these individuals to be held in military custody, interrogated for their intelligence value and not provided with a Miranda warning," according to a release from McCain’s office.

The article goes on to quote Lindsey Graham;

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC), an Air Force Reserves Judge Advocate General, told Fox he usually "understands what John and Joe are trying to do," but he added, "I just don’t feel comfortable with it. There is a role for the civilian courts to play."

The title of The New York Post article is misleading as it says enemy combatants, while it quotes from the bill enemy belligerents.

Let’s have a look at the bill, short titled; ‘‘Enemy Belligerent Interrogation, Detention, and Prosecution Act of 2010’’ You can read it, in pdf, by clicking the link.

The bill states it’s purpose;

To provide for the interrogation and detention of enemy belligerents who commit hostile acts against the United States to establish certain limitations on the prosecution
of such belligerents for such acts, and for other purposes.

We all know, at this point, that interrogation, is the new euphemism for torture. The word belligerent is used as a noun, so, I looked it up;

Function: adjective

Etymology: modification of Latin belligerant-, belligerans, present participle of belligerare to wage war, from belliger waging war, from bellum + gerere to wage

Date: 1577

1 : waging war; specifically : belonging to or recognized as a state at war and protected by and subject to the laws of war
2 : inclined to or exhibiting assertiveness, hostility, or combativeness

Here, in the nightmare world, of George Orwell, we just move from euphemism, to euphemism. Terrorists become enemy combatants, and morph into enemy belligerents.

The Webster’s definition of, the noun, belligerent, says that a belligerent is subject to the rules of war, while the McCain/Lieberman bill says that  only the privileged are. The McCain/Lieberman bill states.

Whenever within the United States, its territories, and possessions,or outside the territorial limits of the United States, an individual is captured or otherwise comes into the custody or under the effective control of the United States who is suspected of engaging in hostilities against the United States or its coalition partners through an act of terrorism, or by other means in violation of the laws of war,or of purposely and materially supporting such hostilities,and who may be an unprivileged enemy belligerent, the individual shall be placed in military custody for purposes of initial interrogation and determination of status in act  in accordance with provisions of this act.

Without going through the bill, word, for word. It gives the President power to establish a high value detainee interrogation group.

Gives local law enforcement the authority to torture, or euphemistically, to interrogate.

Requires local law enforcement to turn belligerents over to the military.

Is a further federalization of law enforcement.

Anyone that is a suspect is denied Miranda rights.

Only after an individual has been tortured, at various levels of law enforced, is the suspect’s case reviewed at the Executive Branch, of the Federal Government. There is no real appeals process.

The detainee can be tortured for 48 hours before forwarding their case.

Individuals can be detained, and tortured, based on their intelligence value. What the hell is that suppose to mean, and who determines it?

Section 5 states that even citizens can be treated as prisoners of war, under the Geneva Conventions. We know that Bush did away with the Geneva Conventions. That means that citizens, viewed as suspects, can be tortured.

This bill also states that it is retroactive and can be used against anyone, for any action, prior to the enactment.

The Homeland Security Act, of 2002, was a formal declaration of war on the American people. American citizens have been the only targets of the Department of Homeland Security since it’s formation. DHS documents have stated, time, and again, that patriots, constitutionalists, returning war veterans, and veterans, in general, are the terrorists.

You, the propagandized,un-American Fascists, turned a blind eye to the evils of the Patriot Act. You applauded the death of the Constitution, and the Bill Rights. You followed an insane dictator, namely, Goerge W. Bush, instead of holding to the principles of the Founding Fathers.

In your bigoted zeal,against Muslims, you have committed your own undoing with your false patriotism.

In one,of many,debates, with a false patriot, and after I had pointed out, the number of American, and Canadian citizens, falsely accused, and torture, it was said to me, “Why I don’t believe they will ever do that to white people.”

You turned a blind eye, thinking it would never happen to you. Well, here it is.

I have always suspected that cops, especially speed cops, know, way down, deep inside, that they are just con men.

South Carolina’s SUBVERSIVE ACTIVITIES REGISTRATION ACT has been on the books, as best as I can tell, since 1976, and maybe older. The reason that it has gotten attention is that there is a bill to repeal it.

That Bill is, Bill 4654, titled, TO REPEAL CHAPTER 29 OF TITLE 23, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO THE "SUBVERSIVE ACTIVITIES REGISTRATION ACT".

The Subversive Activities Registration Act isn’t all that scary really. It, clearly, states who it is directed toward.

"Subversive organization" means every corporation, society, association, camp, group, bund, political party, assembly, body or organization, composed of two or more persons, which directly or indirectly advocates, advises, teaches or practices the duty, necessity or propriety of controlling, conducting, seizing or overthrowing the government of the United States, of this State or of any political subdivision thereof by force or violence or other unlawful means;

It goes on, for three paragraphs, to define the subversive organizations. It also states that it should not violate the First Amendment to the United States Constitution. The law also protects everyday, normal, Americans.

The terms of this chapter do not apply to any labor union or religious, fraternal or patriotic organization, society or association, or their members, whose objectives and aims do not contemplate the overthrow of the government of the United States, of this State or of any political subdivision thereof by force or violence or other unlawful means.

In reality, the fear, and hype, on the net, is much ado about nothing. If you are afraid of the South Carolina’s , Subversive Registration Act, relax, the State is working to repeal it. Hopefully, you have clicked the, above, links, and looked for yourself. South Carolina, is in fact, repealing the law.

But, I say, not so fast!

Wait a minute here; we do have subversive organizations to apply this law to. The subversive minions are in Washington D. C.. I know, you want to snicker here.

Privacy advocate wants Michelle Obama
to demonstrate airports new naked body scanners
(Washington D.C.) The controversial so-called naked body scanners are causing concerns over the graphic images they produce, leading one privacy advocate to call for a published photo of Michelle Obama using the machine. If President Obama doesnt think that these machines are invasive, then he should have no problem allowing images of his wife being scanned by the machines to be released to the press, says privacy advocate Mark Dice.

Images of both men and women that look like negatives have been circulating the web which show how the body scanners work, and have caused alarm over their graphic nature. Since the attempted Christmas Day terrorist attack on a flight headed for Detroit, the Transportation Security Administration has announced plans to buy 300 of the controversial scanners for American airports.
Since the President and his family never have to fly commercially, they are not subjected to the same procedures that average Americans are, and I think its only fair that the Obamas demonstrate that they will subject themselves to the same

The supposed terror attack, on flight 253, reeks of created, false flag, terror, event. Here’s why.

The father, of the alleged terrorist, a wealthy banker, from Nigeria, reported his son to the U.S. embassy, on Nov. 19th. The father said his son was in a terrorist training camp in Yemen.

The Underwear bomber bought a one way plane ticket.

Not only did he not have a passport, he had no  photo ID.

The bomber was on the terrorist watch list.

Witnesses, from the flight, said the bomber appeared disheveled and drugged.

Security, at Amsterdam, was bypassed, by a well dressed man, that witnesses say, appeared to be Indian.

Witnesses on the plane reported another man video recording, the alleged terrorist, throughout the flight. Which reminds me of the “Dancing Israelis,” from the 9/11 attack in NYC.

Since the Flight 253 incident, the mainstream news media, otherwise known as the government, and establishment elite propaganda arm, has been playing up this event to create panic amongst the population.

The point of Flight 253 is to convince the public to accept more controls on them and to create an excuse to attack Yemen.

Problem>Reaction>Solution. There is a problem, you react, the solution is offered by the people that created the problem.

Ask this question; If the bomber was aloud on a plane in Amsterdam, in violation of proper security procedures, why must we, in the US, undergo, dehumanizing, and dangerous, x-ray scans, at the airports?

A legless unarmed man suspected of domestic abuse and charged with resisting arrest was Tasered by the City of Merced. After effectuating this arrest the report states the police left the man nude from the waist down for several minutes in front of a small crowd. No explanation was given of what the arrestee did that made the police fear for their own safety or the safety of fellow officers. The person arrested is a 40-year-old double leg amputee.

He said Williams was stunned once for less than five seconds, causing him to release his grip on his wheelchair so that officers could handcuff him. Andrade called it "unfortunate" that Williams’ genitals were exposed to his neighbors and said officers didn’t mean to humiliate him.

The Taser device can release up to 50,000 volts of electricity.

The Merced Sun-Star reported as follows:

The Merced Police Department’s Internal Affairs Division is investigating a complaint alleging that an officer twice used a Taser against an unarmed, wheelchair-bound man with no legs.

The incident occurred Sept. 11.

The man who was Tasered, 40-year-old Gregory Williams, a double-leg amputee, spent six days in jail on suspicion of domestic violence and resisting arrest, although the Merced County District Attorney’s Office hasn’t filed charges in the case….

Williams said the officers never used any racial epithets toward him. Although he does believe race and class played a role in his arrest, he also feels the police just wanted to be "downright nasty" to him. "They did what they did because they can get away with it," he said. "They’ve been doing it so long, it doesn’t matter who they do it to. They just think they can get away with it."

A handful of residents who live in Williams’ apartment complex claim they witnessed the incident and support Williams’ charges. A short video clip, shot by a neighbor in the complex and obtained by the Sun-Star, clearly shows Williams sitting on the pavement with his pants down, his hands cuffed behind his back….
